Business in Bihar & its Challenges
Bihar is one of the richest
workforce state in India. It is separated from Jharkhand in year 2000. Since
then, its overall revenue is dropped by 70%. The state is also requesting for
special category for years from central government. However if speaking about
Business scenario of Bihar the status comes as a drawback. Job providing by
government for such a mass workforce is not an easy or achievable task. But
there is a lack of mindset in this sector. People are service oriented. They
have the target of Royal job capacity. It does mean that even job should be in
Government sector in priority basis. Then after Private sector comes. Its now a
circle of job chain in bihar. They either want a government job or a private
sector job with security. No one is trying to break this chain or want to
change circle entities. It is because The government has no vision for private
sector evolution in state. If a body is trying to set up a business or industry
in state, he/she has to face a lots of hurdles. First of all no one is going to
support at moral level because of such environment, second government and other
institutions have no such facilities that make a business startup in easy mode
with less government duties and more flexible facilities by government in
different ways. There is no such infrastructure to set up a high-tech industry
in state. Even Not a single facility to grow business market has started by government
since decade and earlier also. So, this is the reason of evolution of such a
circle and a job chain.Without a public-private partnership vision no way to
break this hurdle in favour of state. Even state capital is facing the basic
needs to become a smarter city, so how a Special Economic Zone can be imagined!
The figure of highest GDP rate is the result of huge workforce in state and
their migration which results a huge flow of cash from outside. But we don’t
know our investment in education, labour and livelihood goes to other state.
Our brain and muscles are making other states richer and we are still counting
as a poorer state in India. We are rich in politics because we already left the government and our ruler to
do as they want because we don’t expect for our state to become richer in any
aspect not via government or by ourselves. Till not the private sector comes in
state there is no way to break the job chain. And we with government is
responsible for this hurdle in state.
So, this circle persists and
we are losing our wealth via money and brain in respect of time.
